About us

ICMA is a fully owned subsidiary of NYK Line (Nippon Yusen Kaisha) of Tokyo, established in 1989 to provide complete crew management services for the cruise liners of NYK's two cruise companies, Crystal Cruises in Los Angeles and NYK Cruises in Tokyo. Established in 1885, NYK Line operates a growing fleet totalling more than 700 vessels of all types.

Passenger shipping has been an important and prestigious part of NYK's history, starting in the early 1900's with the highly successful "Queens of the Pacific", and continuing today with the world's top-rated cruise vessels of Crystal Cruises and NYK Cruises.
